How To Look Great On A Budget

By  |  0 Comments

If you’re a 20-something woman you probably love to shop but have a limited budget. Believe me when I say I completely understand. I love to shop and I love going to higher end stores but at the end of the day I can’t justify spending that much money on clothes right now.

I’m a big believer that it doesn’t take a ton of money to look great so I want to share my shopping tips with you.

Do your research

You can probably find a cheaper dupe for most high end clothes. If you can’t afford the real thing don’t go broke trying to keep up with the Jones. Instead recreate the look with cheaper items that you’ll be able to find at stores like H&M and Forever 21. Honestly, unless you’re shopping for a closet staple you won’t want to wear those clothes after a few months anyway. You’ll feel better about donating them if you didn’t spend much money to begin with.

Go Thrifting In Rich Areas

Rich people give away a lot of stuff. I live in San Diego, CA and I always find nice designer things in the thrift store. The same can be said for when I live in Charleston, SC. A lot of the stuff I get even has the tags on it. It’s crazy how much money people waste. You don’t have to be one of them.

Travel To The Back Of Your Wardrobe

I bet there is stuff back there that you forgot existed. I know that’s true for me. At the end or beginning of a season you should go through your entire wardrobe and get rid of what you don’t want and find new ways to wear things you still like. It will save you a lot of money and you won’t look like you’re re-wearing the same clothes.

So, those are my three tips to help you look fabulous on a budget. In the comments tell me which tip is your favorite or what you would add.
